Keeping the tradition of festive spirit, the students of Archies Education Centre came together to celebrate the triumph of good over evil. Students dressed as Ram, Laxman, Sita and all the other important characters of Ramayana staged Ramleela in which they presented the scenes of the banishment of Lord Rama from Ayodhya followed by his victory over Ravana. Lanka Dehen took place complied with burning of an effigy of Ravana marking that no matter how intelligent a person is, his pride will be the reason for his fall. Students learned how Ravan’s single mistake overpowered his entire wisdom. The message of ‘triumph of virtue over the vice’ was well conveyed through the play. The students also came dressed in traditional Garba and Dandiya attire and the play was followed by enjoying the mellifluous music, rhythmic beats, foot tapping on dandiya and garba songs and matched the mood of festivity. A drawing competition took place for the students on the theme of Ramayana in which the students showcased their artistic knack. Our Coordinator ma'am Ms. Sonam Agarwal apprised the students about the primary objective of the entire celebration which was to convince them that no matter how intelligent a person is, his pride will be the reason of his collapse. They were guided by ma’am to imbibe good qualities. She inspired the students not only to be truthful, but also fight for justice for the weak, and destroy seeds of malice. Students collectively celebrated the divine spirit of Vijayadashami. ... See MoreSee Less
