Kanpur Literature Festival
Congratulation to team Archies for winning first prize in 'Skit Festival' organised by Kanpur Literature Festival at GHS - IMR Kamla Nagar. Our Dance drama depicted our struggle for and contributions as a city and district like - mishappenings of Bawan Imli, why do we celebrate Ganga Mela only in Kanpur and how Jhansi ki Rani fought for her rights? mesmerized the audience. The amazingly narrated drama and eye popping performance of student left the audience speechless. As a team Archians got appreciation and blessings in abundance.
We wish our students the best of luck for their future endeavours.

**'The sole meaning of life
is to serve humanity**

One of the great Mughal emperor Akbar was quite anxious to know the truth of religion. He spent time with Sufi saints. Hence he ordered for the construction of the Ibadat Khana (place of worship) at Fatehpur Sikri.

Ibadat khana was a meeting house built in 1575 CE to gather leaders of different religious grounds so as to conduct a discussion on the teachings of the respective religious leaders.
Followers of different religion were allowed to preach their religion peacefully and perform their religious fairs and festivals with their own accord. Those who were converted to Islam forcibly by the previous rulers were given liberty to join their formal religion again, if they desired.
Akbar realised that no religion is complete and there is some truth in every religion. So he adopted all liberal views towards other religions and developed a new religious order which became popular as Din-i- iIlahi.

Children at at Archies Education Centre conducted and activity named as Akbar ka Ibadat khana in which they depicted various religions existed in India and discussed the origin, philosophy, spiritual leaders, literature and sacred places of the particular religion.

They became familiar with the substance of all the religions which is to serve humanity.

✨Theme Assembly: Radiance✨

"Without creativity there would be no progress and we would be forever repeating the same patterns.
Edward De Bono.

The school functions are part and parcel of the co-curricular activities. This year Archies Education Centre planned a Theme Assembly: Radiance, in which students got a chance to display their talents infront of a big audience. It was an occassion of celebration and presentation of their hidden talents. Different performance were given by the students through dances, dramatisation, fashion show and many other acts. The performances were according to the different themes of the different months.
The Theme Assembly enlightened the young minds and channelized their thoughts, feelings and expressions into an ideal direction.
The overall show displayed the coordination and cooperation of students and staff member which brought praises to the school. Events like these needs several days of preparation and a bird eye for details for its outcome. The main aim of this assembly was to appreciate the young minds and their efforts at such a tender age.

Learning is a vast concept, and holistic learning is impossible without studying people, places, and cultures. The more a person travels, the more he learns. In fact, it is the experiential learning that makes education both practical and profitable. To serve the purpose of experiential learning a trip was organised for the students of grade 6-8 to Agra-Mathura-Vrindavan.

On the very first day of the trip, our Archians visited Fatehpur Sikri in the morning, where we got to see Jodha Bai's Palace, Jama Masjid, Buland Darwaza and Tomb of Salim Chishti. They also learned about the famous halls for public and private audiences, Diwan-E-aam and Diwan-E-khaas along with the ornately carved central stone pillar. After having our lunch, we reached the holy city of Vrindavan in the evening, where we visited Prem Mandir and Iskcon Temple. These exquisitely beautiful temples attracted our hearts and minds like a magnet and provided a surreal experience.

On the next day, we visited one of the seven wonders of the world, the Taj Mahal which stood there in all its splendor. We were truly elated to witness the serene and peaceful environment of that architectural grandeur. After that we explored the Agra Fort, where we were told the enthralling stories of the past rulers.
The whole trip was extremely fascinating for us because we could soak in the religious diversity, architecture and history of these places. We were delighted by all the positive and tranquil energy of the divine places.

It’s time to get spooky.
Eat, drink, watch and be scary.
Halloween party was held for our tiny tots where they came dressed up in various spooky outfits to mark the welcoming of good spirits and driving away of the bad spirits in their lives .
The students get the opportunity to go trick or treating, watching movie and dance at a party .
Party was followed by the activities done by various classes .Grade PG did making hanging ghosts by paper cups. Grade Nursery made monster pumpkins of paper strips. Grade Prep, I and II did invisible ink activity. All the celebration followed by these activities made it an enjoyable day for all the children.
Last but not the least, selfies were also taken of the students with spooky décor.

Festivals are very important. They make us forget our cultural and religious differences. They also help us embrace our culture and religion.

Children at Archies Education Centre celebrated the festival of Guru Purab which is also known as the birthday of Guru Nanak Dev Ji the founder of Sikhism.

In Sikh tradition, the Panj Pyare is the term used for the Five Beloved: the men who were initiated into the Khalsa (the brotherhood of the Sikh faith) under the leadership of the last of the 10 Gurus, Gobind Singh. The Panj Pyare are deeply rivered by sikhs a as symbols of steadfastness and devotion.

Khalsa refers to both a community that considers Sikhism as its faith as well as a special group of initiated Sikhs. The Khalsa tradition was initiated in 1699 by the 10th Guru of Sikhism Guru Gobind Singh. It's formation was a key event in the history of Sikhism.

It is always interesting to see what happens if we cut out many of these plane figures of the same shape and size from cardboard sheet and stack them up. Doing such activities enhance hand to eye coordination, recognition of shapes and promotes conceptual learning about these plane figures called shapes.
Students of Grade III performed the activity during their Maths class empowering subjective knowledge.
Let’s initiate and create…..

✨*Diwali Celebration*✨

"Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much."

This year Archians decided to celebrate Diwali in a bit different way. Instead of bursting crackers or eating all the sweets alone, they decided to be a part of HAPPY TO FEED an organisation founded by two of our own Archians. A powerpoint presentation was presented to our students, and the session was conducted by our Coordinator which made the students more clear about the organisation. Students also raised funds and gifted warm blankets to the helping staff of the school. This Diwali was all about spreading love and happiness all around.
